My Thoughts
I rarely stop reading a book with no intention of picking it up again later. Rumors of My Demise is one of those books. I found it flat, lifeless, self-aggrandizing, and inauthentic. The juicy bits, most of which aren’t new anyway. aren’t enough to make it worth the time I’d spend even if I speed-read or listened to it at 3x speed. Skip it.
